U.S. and Panamanian forces work together to stop a vessel smuggling drugs
The United States considers its partnerships with other countries a critical piece in the continued fight against international drug smuggling. When the U.S. Coast Guard notices a suspicious fishing boat floating in the middle of the pacific, Panamanian law enforcement joins the mission. Small boats like this one are usually fast carrying 250 – 500 kilos of drugs.
