You’ve got to wonder what kept England’s de facto style royalty — Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Jourdan Dunn, and Cara Delevingne — in stitches yesterday while holding court in the front row of Burberry Prorsum’s Fall 2015 fashion show.
Besties and official faces of the English heritage brand were sandwiched between famed lensmen Mario Testino and England’s blue-eyed soul export, Sam Smith, visibly howling and cackling while models glided down the runway in funkadelic 70s-inspired peasant dresses, fringed ponchos, and suede knee-high boots (incidentally, the same pair Delevigne wore to the show). Who’s to know the answer behind the hysterics, though, what with Moss staying behind those inscrutable sunglasses of hers the entire time. Whatever the reason, the giggles seemed on par with the carefree bohemian vibes of the collection, the show even ending to the throwback tune of George Harrison’s “My Sweet Lord.” However, Testino brought it all back to modern-day at the show’s closing, as he huddled his fellow haute hippies for a group Instagram.
