Gaëlle Enganamouit is the hair champion of the 2015 Women’s World Cup

We don’t have to always compare things. But the hair at the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup is completely dominating the hair showcased at the men’s soccering event that kicked of in Brazil in June 2014.

Kadeisha Buchanan was excellent in Canada’s first outing, both on the field and on her head.

China’s Zhao Rong came to the party making a strong statement.

But the star of the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup hair tournament, without question, is Cameroon’s Gaëlle Enganamouit.

Amazing.

Enganamouit’s hair says, “Catch me from the wrong angle and I’m a fair-skinned Scandinavian who needs SPF 8,000,000 when out in the sun. But by the time you’ve figured out you’ve been duped, the ball’s in the back of the net.” It’s all kinds of magnificent. Let’s look at it again.

And again.

Logistically, I’m not even sure how this works. But it does. We see you, Gaëlle. We see you, girl.

Let’s have a moment of silence for Gaëlle Enganamouit’s unparalleled hair game. Well, unparalleled at the Women’s World Cup. Back home, though, she has some competition, primarily from Cameroon’s First Lady, Chantal Biya. But still, thank you, Gaëlle, for your service.
