FIFA’s much-derided decision to move 2022’s World Cup has drawn ire, tears, tantrums and a series of poop emoji from Europe – soccer overlords who refuse to see the potential of a November-December tournament. Sure, it’s nice to be able to spend summer vacations with the world’s biggest sport, but who even gets summer vacations anymore?
