When Johan Cruyff took over FC Barcelona in 1988, he transformed the club, ushering in an era of success that’s made him the most important figure in club history. But with the hiring of Luis Enrique, Barça’s moved away from the foundations Cruyff built, moving toward an approach that’s reminiscent of Real Madrid’s in last year’s Champions League semifinals.
