ESPN analyst and retired NBA player Chauncey Billups can relate. When Billups joined the Denver Nuggets in 2008 as its star player, he stole the spotlight from some of his less seasoned teammates—including J.R. Smith, whose antics could sometimes jeopardize games.
Billups—who retired from the NBA in 2011 after 17 years, an NBA Championship, and a Finals MVP—joined the Dan Le Batard Show to talk basketball and how Smith ultimately learned to “bow down.”
