The kids who survived Katrina: 'The memories don't go away'

Cousins Clifford and Diera were children when Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans 10 years ago this week, leaving their families to drift through the city without food or water. “I lost some my family during Katrina, I lost some of my friends,” Clifford said. In this video produced by journalists Nathan Willis and Sherry Anderson, Clifford and Diera recount how they survived the storm despite trauma and tragic losses, and explain how they’re still rebuilding their lives. “I still have dreams about Katrina,” Diera said.
