€‹With news that the President Obama has nominated Democratic party up and comer Julian Castro€‹ to be the country’s next housing secretary, chatter has erupted if this will pave his road being a vice presidential pick in 2016. And just two years after giving the keynote address at the 2012 Democratic National Convention, the media has taken a liking to the rising Democratic. If the 39-year-old Mexican American’s nomination is accepted, Castro would one of the highest-ranking Hispanic officials in Washington.
