How 'Annie' bonded Jamie Foxx and Quvenzhané Wallis for life
The best way to start off your day is with a glass of juice and some dance moves. At least, that’s what Matt Brimer and Radha Agrawal, the creators of DAYBREAKER, believe.
Brimer and Agrawal throw pre-work rave parties that offer a different kind of morning workout. Doors open at 6 a.m. for a yoga class, and at 7 a.m., the guest DJ cranks the bass, turning the venue into a full-blown dance party.
But pre-work morning rave parties are not just about the dancing. The founders also stress the importance of nutritional and mental health. Brimer and Agrawal want to provide a place where people can come to express themselves, without alcohol, in a judgement-free space. Live painters, poets and strobe-light partying jellyfish are often at these parties.
The $25 ticket includes admission, healthy food and drinks (alcohol is NOT allowed at DAYBREAKER parties).
The dance parties exist in New York City, as well as in select cities around the world. However, the location and dates are well-kept secrets – unless you sign up for DAYBREAKER’s mailing list.
