Good job Senator John Walsh on plagiarizing your college thesis! And by good we mean terrible.
The 14 page paper, outlining a case for democracy in the Middle East, was pretty much lifted word for word from an article by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
Representatives for Walsh cited he was suffering from PTSD at the time; however, we all know how hard school can be (14 pages sounds petty grueling).
While many politicians weren’t great students in school (George W. Bush, John McCain, Al Gore got some pretty bad grades) Walsh was actually 46-years-old at the time he received his masters degree. Should he be judged more harshly than a 20 something political hopeful? Well, obviously. If you’re going to plagiarize in your forties you should at least know how to get away with it.
