At Giants halftime, Veteran finally receives service dog during emotional ceremony

Miguel Torres entered the U.S. Army when he was 17 years old. The next year, he set foot in Iraq as part of the original invasion in 2003. Torres served two tours in Iraq, and during his second tour, tragedy struck when Torres lost a close friend.

Upon returning home in 2006, he developed PTSD and was desperate to receive a service dog. It took four years – but thanks to non-profit organization Guardians of Rescue – Torres and his pup Stryker are now residing comfortably in Florida.
